Welcome back after the long break!
This week the grade 6 kids will be wrapping up their first look at the Iroquois Confederacy. The study package is due Friday, Feb 21st.
The grade fives are working on an inquiry project on the physical regions of Canada. Things are shaping up, and I've started to see some impressive work out of the class! We'll all be able to see what they have done on Monday Feb 24th. After the deadline, we'll be taking the time to assess and set goals for improvement with future inquiries. I'm excited to see how far we can go with this style of learning.
Sky science has begun, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I love teaching and learning about space! The students are working on a research and creative project called "Exploring the Solar System." It's their first sky science assignment, focused on a specific planet, and how it might be explored. I'm excited to see what our class comes up with! It's due on Tuesday the 25th.
